New Items, New Photos

I asked a few weeks ago for some etsyians to critique my shop in hopes to figure out why the heck I'm not selling anything. Most of them said that I need to redo my pictures. So, I put up some of my newly made items with a new photo layout. Lost the brown background (which I thought would be a nice consistent background for everything...turns out it's just boring!) and did some different poses of the items. Hopefully people will respond better to these pictures and start buying. I have to get some more tutus up because I have 12 total made but only 4 in my shop right now. Guess I'll be doing that tomorrow.

Inga of IngaStitch was lucky enough to get in on etsy's treasury today. And lucky ME, she featured one of my items in it. Check it out here: http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=83849 and please check out her shop by clicking on the link in her name.

Thank you so much!!

My life on the D-List

I randomly stumbled upon a thread in the etsy forums for new sellers having low sales. And it turns out we're now a D-List little team. How cute is that?! We're all offering support and information to one another to help boost our sales. I'm excited to see where this goes. I'll keep you posted!

Thanks to soulstone and HippieChick for creating the group. Follow their blogs, or visit their shops, here:

First Craft Fair

My friend found a way to get a free spot at the upcoming Fun on Foster street fair in downtown Portland. So we're going to share a table and sell our handmade goods. I'm so excited!! If you're in the area, come check us out this Saturday, Sept. 26. The fair goes from 10am-6pm and we'll be located on Foster and 60th. Come say hi!

My Etsy shop is open for business!

That's right, I FINALLY got my stuff photographed and put up into my Etsy shop. Not all of my items are up yet, but a good chunk of them are. And, as always, if you see something you like but want some changes made, let me know and I can customize an item. Or if you don't see what you want, let me know what you're looking for and I can make a new, custom item just for you!

Halloween Costumes

I can make a variety of tutus and clips for your little one's Halloween costume. Here are just a few ideas:

- Red/Black tutu for a lovely ladybug. Add coordinating red/black corker bows to finish it off!
- Yellow/Black tutu for a buzzing bee. I can make coordinating yellow/black corkers too.
- Orange/Black tutu for a monarch butterfly. Add a butterfly clip to hair or the tutu itself!
- Solid Black with a white stripe in the back for a skunk. She'll be too stinkin' cute!
- Solid yellow for a duck costume. I can add some feathers too.
- Or keep it simple and have her be a ballerina or fairy princess with a colorful tutu and a large gerber daisy clip.

I can do any variety of colors you like for your tutu. If you have an idea, let me know and we'll figure out the best creation for you and your little one! Or if you have your costume and want a little something extra to make your costume stand out from the others, I can create a coordinating hair clip to match!!
